Useful software, built for real people.

I hold a B.S. in Cybersecurity, and I've found that what I enjoy most is building things people actually use: websites, applications, and tools for the communities I'm part of.

Much of what I've learned has come from building real projects end to end, from my own portfolios to a website for a Minecraft community. Each one has taught me something about planning, design, and what it takes to keep a website useful after launch.

Olson Technology Solutions is how I bring that work to others. It's a one-person practice, so when you reach out, you're talking to the person who will plan, design, and build your project. I like it that way: it keeps communication simple and lets me understand each project fully.

Whether you're an individual who wants a personal website, a business that needs a clearer online presence, or a community that needs a central home, I'm happy to help you figure out what makes sense.

How I work

What you can expect from me.

  • Direct collaboration

You work with the person doing the work. Questions, feedback, and decisions go straight to me, so nothing gets lost in translation.

  • Usability first

A website should be easy to understand and easy to use on any device. I organize content around what visitors are actually looking for.

  • Built to be maintained

I aim for clear, organized code and structure so updates and new features stay manageable as your needs change.

  • Security-minded

My cybersecurity background shapes how I think about things like user data and access. Good security is an ongoing practice, and I treat it as one throughout a project.

Technology

The tools behind the work

You don't need to know any of this to work with me, but here's what I typically use.

  • Next.js, React & TypeScriptDevelopment

A modern foundation for fast, reliable websites and applications.

  • GitHubCode management

Version history and organized code, so changes are tracked and reversible.

  • VercelHosting & deployment

Dependable hosting with straightforward, repeatable releases.

Let’s build something useful.

If you have a website or application in mind, I’d be glad to hear about it. An early idea is enough to start.
